Wine from America

In the United States wine is produced commercially in all fifty states, although the majority of wine is produced in California. If California (which accounts for about 90% of American wine production) were a country, it would be the fourth largest producer of wine in the world. Major production also occurs in New York state (5%), Washington state (4%), and Oregon (0.6%).
