Wine from Loire Valley

Loire Valley is one of the more northerly wine regions and as such is synonymous with producing wines suited to a cooler climate. They are well known for producing the fashionable and delicious Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé. They however and responsible for for Muscadet, Vouvray, Anjou Blanc and Rosé and a few reds such as Saumur, Champigny, Bourgeuil and Chinon made with the Pinot Noir grape.
