CAV Cauquenes - Antu Mapu is a wine producer located in Maule Valley, Chile.

Antu Mapu wines are produced in CAV Cauquenes winery situated in the Maule Valley. The region offers a perfect microclimate & enjoys a unique soil type that is high in mineral content & is arid red clay in composition. In 1996, Claudio Barria was recruited as winemaker & has transformed their reputation. Without the whole range available at the time, only three wines were presented for the International Wine Challenge 1998, almost to their embarrassment all wine won awards & the Sauvignon Blanc was voted ""White Wine of the Year". Not bad at their first attempt.
